Bottiglia ad alto collo (MO8)
Metà XVII secolo.
La base non è invetriata, il collo è leggermente obliquo. Il
decoro non è abbastanza nitido e in parecchie zone il blu è
sbavato. Il disegno ha un sapore impressionistico con
pennellate di colore di varia intensità dipinte a macchie
senza alcun contorno. La fattura è grossolana.
La bottiglia apoda dal corpo globulare e alto e sottile collo
presenta sul corpo una scena di paesaggio con montagne,
acque, alberi, padiglioni e due personaggi sulla riva. Manca
il disegno della testa dei due personaggi raffigurati.
Kendi (MO10)
Seconda metà XVII secolo.
Kendi dal corpo globulare, alto collo e piede ad anello.
Il blu è molto scuro. La montatura metallica, di produzione
giavanese databile al XVIII secolo, ricopre la bocca del
recipiente, forma il coperchio bombato, guarnisce anche il
versatoio ed è dotata una lunga e sottile catena che unisce
il coperchio e il versatoio. La guarnizione metallica è
decorata con medaglioni floreali lobati che si stagliano su
un fondo geometrico a meandri.
Sul corpo del recipiente sono rappresentate due fenici dalle
lunghe code ramificate tra peonie. Alla base del collo vi è
una sottile banda a losanghe, mentre sul collo compaiono tre
rami fioriti.
Tall neck bottle (MO8)
Mid-17th century.
The base is not glazed, the neck is slightly oblique. The
outline of the decoration is not well-defined and in various
areas the blue is blurred. The pattern shows an impressionistic
taste, with strokes of colour of variable intensity, painted as
non-outlined splashes. The workmanship is coarse.
The apodal bottle, with a globular body and a tall and slender
neck, features on the body a landscape scene with mountains,
waters, trees, pavilions and two characters on the bank. The
drawing of the heads of the two characters is missing.
Kendi (MO10)
Second half of the 17th century.
Kendi with globular body, tall neck and foot ring.
The blue is very dark. The metallic mount, of Javanese
manufacture datable to the 18th century, covers the mouth
of the vessels, shapes the rounded top, also decorates the
spout and is furnished with a long and slender chain linking
the top to the spout. The metal mount is decorated with
lobed floral medallions in reserve against a geometric
background with diaper patterns.
The decoration on the body of the vessel shows two
phoenixes with long ramified tails among peonies. At the
base of the neck there is a thin band with lozenges, while on
the neck there are three blooming branches.
