Frammenti di ciotole decorate con bande lungo l’orlo
da Mahal Teglinos (K 1)
Un tratto caratteristico della ceramica del Gruppo del
Gash è rappresentato da ciotole con bande lungo
l’orlo, ottenute mediante incisioni o impressioni sem-
plici o incrociate (Fattovich 1989a: 490, fig. 6).

Frammento di orlo di ciotola con superficie marrone lisciata e
impasto micaceo.All’esterno banda orizzontale di impressioni
di pettine oblique sotto l’orlo.

Frammento di orlo di ciotola con superficie marrone lisciata
e impasto micaceo. Fumeggiature all’esterno e ingobbio
rosso brunito sul labbro. All’esterno banda orizzontale di
tacche allungate sotto l’orlo.

e impasto micaceo. All’esterno banda orizzontale di incisioni
incrociate a formare dei triangoli pendenti sotto l’orlo.

e impasto micaceo. Fumeggiature all’esterno e lungo l’orlo.
All’esterno banda orizzontale di impressioni di arnese a due
punte a sezione triangolare sotto l’orlo.

Atypical feature of the Gash Group pottery is represented
by bowls with rim band decoration. The rim bands were
incised or impressed, simply or with crossing (Fattovich
1989a: 490, fig. 6).

oblique comb impressions.

surface and red burnished slip on the lip. Rim band of
